The 2014 World Cup in Brazil this year will begin with a teenager making the first kick. That doesn’t sound too exciting… but consider that the teenager is paralyzed and wearing a mind controlled exoskeleton and things get really interesting.
The exoskeleton will support the lower part of the body and be controlled by electrodes attached to the wearers head to receive the brain waves. This then controls the exoskeleton.
The actual teenager has not been chosen, but there are a group of suitable teenagers already testing this technology.
